</html><description>Bodies and Memories is an exhibition at the MODEM Center for Modern and Contemporary Arts in Debrecen. When is the exhibition?  Between October 30, 2025, and February 22, 2026. What is this exhibition?  It is an exhibition of fine arts. You will see paintings and sculptures at the exhibition. There may also be works arranged in space. We call these installations. What does it mean to depict people in art?  People can be seen in the works. You can see faces. You can see bodies. You can see human figures. Where do the works come from?  The works come from a private collection. The collection is called the Antal&#x2013;Lusztig Collection. A private collection means that someone has collected many works of art. What is the exhibition about?  The exhibition is about the body. The exhibition is about memories. The exhibition also shows how artists think about this. The exhibition presents four themes.  One theme is figure. Figure means how a person looks in the artwork. Another theme is role.  Role means what a person does. The body shows movement. The body shows behavior. The third theme is memory.  Memory means how we remember the past. The works may contain traces of old stories. The works may also have a sad or serious mood. The fourth theme is myth.  A myth is an ancient, symbolic story. The works may contain symbols. A symbol is something that has another meaning. What period are the works from?  The exhibition presents Hungarian works from after 1945. Artists from several generations are featured in the exhibition. There are older and newer works. Useful advice for visiting  Look at only a few works at a time. Take your time. If you get tired, take a break. If something is unclear, ask a museum staff member.
