Design is&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026it\u2019s impossible to answer this question. It\u2019s a story about happiness and<br \/>\ndisenchantment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. The Russian design? Three important names, three merits, three faults \u2013<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>yesterday, today and tomorrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three names: Igorj Gurovics, Anna Kulachek, Szergej Szerov. It\u2019s main merit, as I<br \/>\nsee it, is the lack of fear, because nobody expects anything. They don\u2019t really<br \/>\nexpect anything from this profession. But I can\u2019t see any faults, only advantages.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning the design yesterday, today and tomorrow, there\u2019s a fourth word:<br \/>\nforever. Yes, forever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. What is the heritage of the Russian avant-garde for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First of all, I would underline constructivism, because that\u2019s the most interesting<br \/>\npart of the whole. The heritage of the Russian avant-garde is beautiful, it gave us<br \/>\na lot of names. The artists apply this heritage, they love it, often they are not<br \/>\nmodest in copying its methods perfectly, they use its stylistic characteristics and<br \/>\ntypography. This is a gigantic school, to which we can thank Tadanori Yokoo,<br \/>\nPaula Scher and a lot of other renowned designers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Who from world designers have influenced to you the most?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My father, Abr\u00e1m Ljvovics Gutikov, who was an industrial designer in Minsk. He<br \/>\ntaught me a very important thing, that is to love my profession.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. How could you formulate the essence of your author&#8217;s creative concept? Your<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>way in design?
