Between the rendering and the finished building sit negotiations over budgets, regulations, labour, materials and politics. An \u201cas-built\u201d drawing records that gap, and it\u2019s exactly where this Nomadic School begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MODEM (Debrecen) and FABER (Timi\u0219oara), through Interreg VI-A Romania-Hungary, invite students and recent graduates in art, design, architecture and related fields to join a two-week nomadic programme of fieldwork, material experimentation and project development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccd Debrecen \u2192 Northern Hungary field-research location \u2192 Timi\u0219oara<br>\ud83d\uddd3 1\u201314 February 2027 (arrival 31 January, dates provisional)<br>\ud83d\udc65 16 participants<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What to expect<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> Site visits to factories, construction sites and research centres. Conversations with tutors, curators and people working in the construction industry. Making, testing and proposal development, with a final presentation in Debrecen. No finished artworks required, and no prior knowledge of the region needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can apply<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> International BA and MA students, or graduates from the past five years, working in art, design, architecture or related fields. You need to be available for the full programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What\u2019s covered<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Travel (up to \u20ac500), accommodation, meals, local transfers, programme and workshop costs, plus a stipend for all 16 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What\u2019s next<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Four participants will be selected to develop their proposals into new works for the As-Built exhibitions at FABER in Timi\u0219oara and MODEM in Debrecen, with curatorial support and a production budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to apply<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> Complete the online application form with a short bio, a portfolio of up to 10 pages and five short questions.
