Two hydrogen atoms share their electrons. Exhibition by Zsolt Asztalos
2014. Oct. 05. - 2014. Nov. 02.
Atoms behave in a similar way to humans. They transfer electrons to each other. They take them up when they feel the need, or give them away because some people have too many. They are also constantly striving to be stable. Some are cooperative and some are not. There are strong relationships and there are weak ones. In physics, bodies attract each other just because they physically exist. They can also repel each other in certain situations. The pace of scientific research is increasing these days. The research results of our mechanised world sometimes stray into metaphysical realms. The LHC particle accelerator is trying to explore the micro-world, invisible to the naked eye. It searches for the parts of the atom and the moment the world was created. Findings that also parallel the relationships between people and the reactions in the human psyche itself. The exhibition sought the living in inanimate matter and tried to find the intangible in our material world.
