Enclosed garden – Works in the inner garden

2008. May. 16. - 2008. Jun. 15.

The exhibition series Enclosed Garden – Works in the Inner Garden invited twelve artists to create a project-based work in MODEM’s walled inner garden. In this case, the concept of the enclosed garden is biblical, a paradise on earth, but also a symbol of pure love, a place of meditation and prayer, an idea. The exhibiting artists have not set out to create works that are untouchable enclosures and isolated, but works that are born for the space, that provoke reflection and interaction.
