2016. Jun. 18. - 2016. Aug. 31.

The exhibition brought together 10 years of work by the International Lake Venice Symposium. From the very beginning, the Artists’ Colony has consciously sought to bring art to the recreational settlements of Lake Venice and to become a key factor in the artistic and cultural life of the region and a force for community cohesion. In many ways, its initiative and action are exceptional and exemplary. The exhibition at the MODEM gave the viewer an insight into the current situation of nature art in Hungary, its new achievements and the activities of the international artists’ colony so far.

In the field of land art, landscape art, earth art, site-specific and other natural art, the works are extended into real space, landscape, nature or made of natural materials and placed back into their original environment, documenting their process of creation, as well as computer graphics and installations created by transforming images of nature, he presented the new information system for mobile phones of the artists’ studio, which makes the original works, sites and main biographical data of their creators available to any phone user. The hand’s on tool made tangible, through video films, all the tangible results of the artists’ colony’s work. The exhibition included a special room where visitors could learn about the educational methodology, research and practical results of the Artists’ Workshop and the creative works produced in the framework of the creative workshop. During the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to create individually and in groups, to interact with the artists and to participate in workshops.
