Little Hungarian pornography. Exhibition about the system we live in.
2009. Jul. 30. - 2009. Oct. 25.
Twenty-five years ago, a work of literature was published that gave a very nuanced and enjoyable account of the decades of the Kádár-regime. Péter Esterházy’s Little Hungarian Pornography was a revelation for many of us, portraying the absurd mechanisms, the sorrows and the joys of ‘existing socialism’. It was about the System, about the fixability of which a part of the Hungarian intellectuals had been thinking for decades.
