New Mediations is the catalogue accompanying MODEM’s exhibition of the same name in Debrecen (1 October 2022 – 22 January 2023).
The catalogue showcases prominent English, German, Serbian and Hungarian representatives of a current international art movement: an online contemporary art community formed by millennial artists that transcends geographical boundaries.
Through works by twelve contemporary artists and a four-member artist collective, the publication offers insight into diverse, personal explorations of post-internet art, presenting new images and forms that move beyond the rigidity of materials and open up further space for mediations between the real and the virtual.
