Our workshops aim to facilitate the reception of the exhibitions and introduce significant visual artists and artworks. This aim is fulfilled by playful tasks. These workshops contain a complex programme: the museum tour constructed on dialogues is expanded with creative and interactive elements. Adjusting to the age-specific features, each topic is approached with different language, equipment and material. The active and regular connection with artworks improves the aesthetical sense of the children and makes them curious.
Art Education in the MODEM
By its very nature, the contemporary art reflects on the questions of our age with its own particular language. Connecting to the exhibitions, we intend to familiarize the children with this particular language ‒ forms and vocabulary of the contemporary visual art ‒ and the current questions of our age on the workshops. Our aim is to make every child a curious, receptive and bold experimenter.
