Parisian Abstracts. Abstraction-Création.

On behalf of the MODEM Modern and Contemporary Arts Centre we kindly invite you to the opening event of our latest, internationally unique exhibition on 2nd October, Saturday.

The unique international exhibition titled Parisian Abstracts. Abstraction-Création. Kandinszkij, Hélion, Calder, Moholy-Nagy… puts on display the activity of the ever-existed greatest official non-figurative grouping, the Abstraction-Création, and the world of Paris in the 30s.

Curator: Dr. Flóra Mészáros Flóra, Art Historian

Programme of the opening event:
Welcome speeches of Lajos Kósa, the member of parliament, Dr. István Puskás, the cultural deputy mayor of Debrecen, Katalin Vizi, the managing director of MODEM, and Dr. Flóra Mészáros, the curator of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be opened by Dr. Sarah Wilson, professor of the Courtaulds Institute of Art.

Date and time: 2 nd October 2021, 6pm

The opening ceremony can only be attended with a vaccine certificate.
