Salvador Dalí did not believe in half measures. His life, work, and way of thinking were one grand provocation against grey everyday life — a genius who believed that life is truly worth living only when every moment is experienced through the fullness of the senses. It is not enough to see. You have to feel it. Taste it, touch it, immerse yourself in it.

The Time Mimicry exhibition brings this spirit to Debrecen — presenting Dalí’s fashion visions alongside works by contemporary Hungarian fashion designers, in an exhibition that, in our view, cannot be experienced through a single sense alone.

That’s why we partnered with Hotel Lycium – Atelier Restaurant.

The restaurant completes the Dalí experience with a special dish: salmon, carrot velouté, stuffed pasta, kohlrabi, pumpkin seeds — a plate where contrasts, unusual forms, and the interplay of textures evoke the same excitement we feel in his works..

How does Dalí – Wednesday work?

The program is available every Wednesday from April 1 to May 24, 2026 — until the closing of the exhibition.

Visitors to the Time Mimicry exhibition receive a voucher at the ticket desk, which grants them a 10% discount on the Dalí dish at Atelier Restaurant when presented on the same day. Guests who order the restaurant’s special Dalí dish also receive a voucher, entitling them to a 10% discount on exhibition tickets — also valid on the same day. Vouchers are valid on Wednesdays only and cannot be redeemed on other days.

Should you start with the meal or the exhibition?

While we recommend starting with the exhibition, the order doesn’t really matter. What matters is that the experience does not end at the museum walls.

Because that’s surely how Dalí would have wanted it.
